When the weather starts to warm and you notice little buds growing on the tips of trees, it’s time to switch from winter merry to fresh spring tones. Spring is full of youth, zest, and bright energy, and when combined with weddings it can amplify a fresh new start for the bride and groom. Spring weddings are typically known for dainty colors and fresh flowers, but there are other elements to consider.
Pastel Palettes Galore
Pastel colors are paler, softer, and have a creamier look than most colors. Typically, a color palette of pastels would include periwinkle, baby blue, mint green, peach, bubblegum pink, mauve, and lavender. However, you can also include pale tans or beige and bright grey if you want more neutral colors. You can combine pastel colors that contrast or complement one another. Pastel colors are more relaxed but also have a splash of enthusiasm that speaks of joy and excitement.
Bloom Season Is In
Of course, you will want to incorporate lots of flowers. But instead of just sticking flowers in vases or making a lot of bouquets, consider other approaches. Try decorating with a gorgeous wooden lattice filled with flower vines. This can be an incredibly romantic backdrop for tables, dance floors, or entrances to outdoor areas. Floral arch decorations are a poignant and beautiful way that makes a fabulous statement about an event and are perfect for photoshoots. Wicker chairs made of finely woven wood with flowers perched on them are also another way to incorporate spring flavors, along with wicker baskets full to the brim with blooms. Instead of your typical chandelier, you can also try floral chandeliers made completely of flowers dangling downwards over a large space.
Outdoor Sunkissed Events
If your local spring season isn’t too rainy or you are expecting a dry spell, you can do lovely outdoor events. Incorporating decorated swings is a fun way to create interactive décor for guests and also another opportunity to do photoshoots. You can also add seasonal spring foods from local or traditional cultures that are refreshing and delicious. Edible flowers are also very spring-oriented and surprising when added to cuisines, and instantly brighten up any dish.
