Is there any other flower more appropriate for a beautiful spring wedding in May than gerber daisies? Our lovely bride, Rachael, chose yellow and white gerber daisies for her wedding flowers. They were gorgeous against the kelly green of her bridesmaid’s dresses! Such a perfect combination for spring! Enjoy these amazing images by Photo205…I cannot wait to add them to our gallery.
Congratulation to these newlyweds!

One of my favorite weddings from this year is Malloy and Josh’s downtown celebration! This sweet couple tied the knot at Above the Redmont Hotel back in May. Below is a preview of the wedding. These gorgeous images are by Olive Yew Photography. Special thanks to Kelli for sending me over some this weekend!
One of our favorite gourmet products we carry in-store is Robert Rothschild Farm’s Roasted Pineapple & Habanero Dip! This ready to serve dip is great as a quick appetizer for cook outs and summer gatherings. Just pour the dip over cream cheese and serve with crackers or pita chips. Our favorite way to serve this dip is using the company’s Tropical Grilled Pork Tenderloin recipe. Ingredients needed are 2 Pork tenderloins, trimmed, 1 1/2 cups Robert Rothschild Farm Roasted Pineapple & Habanero Dip, Olive oil, and Kosher salt and pepper, to season. Preheat your grill to medium high heat. Rub the pork with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill pork for 8-10 minutes, or to desired doneness, turning every 3-4 minutes. Let the pork rest, covered, for 10 minutes. Slice and fan on a platter. Top with Roasted Pineapple & Habanero Sauce or Dip and voila! Dinner is served! We suggest Basmati rice and grilled vegetable for sides. This dip is all-natural, kosher and gluten free.
This color scheme works perfect for the bride who wants give her modern wedding some vintage touches. This charming palette looks beautiful with ivory and pale pink flowers. Plus, adding touches of gold to greenery or berries, such as Italian ruscus or hypericum, with floral gold spray paint can really set this look off! This color combination plus lush, delicate flowers, like roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas, stock and stock would make for a romantic bouquet on the big day!
In May of 2009, we had such a fabulous time designing this sweet couple’s wedding! We have since then attended a baby shower for them too! We adore this couple and had such a pleasure working with Michelle’s BOLD vision for her big day!
We also love when bride’s keep all the color in their bouquets for themselves and let their bridesmaids carry simple nosegays.
One of our favorite shots! Such a gorgeous bouquet!
This grapevine wreath punched up the reception tent!
We hope these photos have brightened up your Friday too!
With summer time in full effect, we are definitely loving citrus color combinations. This palette can work well with most flowers since they naturally come in shades of pink, yellow and orange. For an extra pop of color, add in lime green or tone it down with shades of white. This is a color scheme perfect for any fun-loving summer bride!
